Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children with autism under a BCBA's guidance, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

No prior experience is required as we provide comprehensive training. You must be patient, compassionate, able to work in a team, and physically capable of helping children up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if not done in the last year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Maintain safety and professionalism.
