Job summary

Centria Autism in Oregon is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through one-to-one intervention under a BCBA. You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques, while reducing interfering behaviors and tracking progress.

You will receive comprehensive training, work in a team, and help children reach their full potential. Pay ranges from $19 to $24 per hour; a positive, supportive environment is promised.

Qualifications

Passionate about helping children with autism.
Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
18+ years of age
High school diploma or GED
Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications and TB test
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds
Obtain an RBT certification after onboarding

Responsibilities

Work one-on-one with children and implement behavior intervention plans under a BCBA.
Teach communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
Reduce interfering behaviors and track progress.
Collaborate with a dedicated team and participate in ongoing training
