Job summary

Step Beyond Development is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work with children aged 2-17. You will implement individualized intervention plans under a BCBA, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

You'll work one-on-one in a supportive team, receive comprehensive training, and help children reach their full potential. The role requires standing and lifting up to 50 pounds and is scheduled for 3:30pm–6:30pm sessions.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or obtainable.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children (2–17) under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and support progress.
• Participate in training and onboarding activities.
