Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans under a BCBA's guidance to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

Training is provided, with an emphasis on safety and teamwork. The role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed, and offers competitive pay for this essential, impactful work in our autism

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age; ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans.
• Operate under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Ensure safe movement and handling; adapt to behaviors as needed.
