Job summary

Centria Autism in Farmington Hills, MI is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

This role offers training, a pay range of $16–$20 per hour, and opportunities to grow in the Behavioral Analysis field. You should be patient, compassionate, and a team player, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children using BCBA-guided behavior plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Use evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with team and participate in onboarding.
