Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to join our team in Farmington Hills, MI. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans under the guidance of a BCBA to teach communication, social and daily living skills.

We provide comprehensive training and a supportive environment where you can grow professionally. The role requires patience and physical stamina, and offers a pay range of $18–$25 per hour with opportunities to impact families

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and team-oriented.
• 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid and TB test.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Capable of moving in various positions and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing behavior plans under a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors.
• Maintain safety and support during activities.
