Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one with clients, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA and using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

We provide comprehensive training and value patience, compassion, and teamwork. The role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed; pay ranges from $19 to $24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate and a team player.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans.
• Follow guidance from a BCBA and use evidence-based techniques.
• Help teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Be prepared for physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds.
