Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavioral Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans under a BCBA and using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Training is provided; no prior experience required. You must be able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and pass a background check. Pay range is $17–$20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• 18+ years of age.
• Pass pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress.
