Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will focus on teaching communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

No prior experience is required as comprehensive training is provided; candidates should be patient, compassionate and a strong team player. The role may involve standing, lifting, and assisting children up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Experience with autism not required; training provided.
• Able to stand, walk, sit, bend, kneel, lift up to 50 pounds.
• 18+ years of age and able to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children following individualized behavior plans.
• Operate under BCBA supervision; implement evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills; reduce interfering behaviors.
