Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals for the Registered Behavior Technician role. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA's guidance to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

The position emphasizes patience, teamwork, and a commitment to helping children reach their full potential. Training is provided; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and pass background checks is required.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Candidates must obtain an Registered Behavior Technician Certification after completing onboarding

Responsibilities

• One-on-one work with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Work under the guidance of a BCBA to deliver effective interventions.
• Contribute to a supportive team environment and participate in onboarding training.
