Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized plans and use evidence-based methods to develop communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing disruptive behaviors.

We provide thorough training and a collaborative team environment. The role requires patience, compassion, and physical stamina to assist children up to 50 pounds during activities.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Able to work in a team and maintain patience and compassion.
• 18+ years old and high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Assist in reducing interfering behaviors and promoting safety during sessions.
• Participate in onboarding and ongoing training.
