Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to join our team. You'll work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a BCBA to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience is required as we provide comprehensive training. Candidates should be patient and compassionate, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and ready to complete required certifications and background checks.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR, First Aid certification and TB test (within last year).
• Pass pre-employment background check.
• Able to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Contribute to reducing interfering behaviors and promote positive outcomes.
• Collaborate with the team to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.
