Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services Spokane is hiring a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children with Autism. You will help develop social and communication skills while documenting progress and adhering to behavior plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with special needs
• Strong communication skills
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Completion of college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development or related experience

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors
• Document child progress and milestones
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts

Skills

1 year experience with children in roles like ABA Therapist or Paraprofessional
