Qualifications

• Maintain CPI certification; training provided by WCPSS.

Responsibilities

• Supports teachers in coordinating instructional programs for special education students.
• Assists with strategies for implementing students' behavioral intervention plans.
• Aids in planning, organizing, evaluating activities, and preparing materials.
• Maintains confidentiality and complies with FERPA and related laws.
• Coordinates student transitions and assists with health-care needs as required.
• Supports use of low- and high-tech assistive tech and AAC devices.
• Compiles and files reports with confidentiality; participates in staff development.
• Ensures safety and supervision of students in classroom settings.
