Job summary

New Story Schools in Harrisburg, PA seeks a Behavior Consultant to design and oversee individualized behavior plans that support students’ academic and social success. You will collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to implement effective strategies and monitor progress.

The role requires a Master’s degree in ABA or related field and at least two years of ABA experience, including FBAs and PBSPs, with strong communication skills and a focus on positive behavioral supports.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
• Minimum of two years of ABA service delivery including FBAs and PBSPs.
• Experience with ASD and behavioral disorders.
• Strong knowledge of ABA and PBS.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional behavioral assessments and develop individualized positive behavior support plans.
• Provide behavioral consultation and progress monitoring for assigned students.
• Train and support teachers and staff on implementing behavior strategies and data collection systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align behaviors with IEP goals.
• Analyze behavioral data and adjust interventions for ongoing student success.
