Job summary

New Story Schools is seeking a Behavior Consultant to support students aged 5–21 with autism and related challenges. You will develop individualized behavior plans, collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families, and implement strategies to foster academic and social growth.

You’ll need a Master’s in ABA or related field and at least two years of ABA service delivery, including FBAs and PBSPs. Strong ABA knowledge and communication skills are essential to help students succeed.”

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in ABA or related field.
• Minimum of two years ABA service delivery incl. FBAs and PBSPs and staff training.
• Experience with ASD or behavioral/emotional disorders.
• Strong knowledge of ABA and positive behavior supports.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional behavioral assessments and develop PBSPs.
• Provide behavioral consultation and progress monitoring for assigned students.
• Train and support teachers and staff on implementing behavior strategies and data collection.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align behavioral goals with IEP objectives.
• Analyze behavioral data and adjust interventions to promote ongoing student success.
