Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism one-on-one under a BCBA's guidance. You will implement individualized plans, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques, while reducing challenging behaviors.

Training is provided, and the role involves standing, walking, lifting, and assisting children up to 50 pounds. Pay range is $18–$25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion to work with children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team setting.
• 18+ years old and a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and a TB test.
• Pass background checks prior to onboarding.
• Able to move and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA supervision.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and support client safety.
