Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under the guidance of a BCBA to implement individualized behavior plans and teach essential skills through evidence-based methods.

Our team values patience, compassion, and teamwork as we strive to empower every child to reach their potential. Comprehensive training is provided; candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and obtain CPR/First Aid and TB tests if needed.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain a Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Participate in ongoing training and onboarding to empower effective support.
