Job summary

Action Behavior Centers in Wake Forest, NC is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to help children with autism develop communication, social, and independent skills through ABA therapy. The role runs Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with optional Saturdays based on patient needs, and offers paid training plus RBT certification.

You will work one-on-one with children, following individualized plans, collecting session data, and supporting learning through play and hands-on activities in a safe setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; provide proof of degree during hiring.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Paid training and RBT certification fully covered.
• Experience in childcare or health-related roles is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children ages 18 months to 8 years using play-based ABA therapy.
• Follow personalized treatment plans and collect simple session data.
• Help children learn through play, movement, reading, games, and hands-on activities.
• Stay active and engaged during therapy sessions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment.
• Collaborate with a supportive team focused on helping kids grow and succeed.
