Job summary

Pivotal Parenting Support LLC in Long Beach, CA seeks a dedicated Behavior Technician to support individuals with ASD and other developmental disabilities through ABA therapy. You will work under the supervision of a BCBA, delivering one-on-one services in home, school, and community settings.

The role offers part-time hours with potential to move to full-time, competitive hourly pay, 14 days PTO, and opportunities for professional development as you help clients achieve meaningful progress.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior plans.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
• Collect and record data on client progress and behavior.
• Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency in treatment approach.
