IMS Care Center is seeking an Authorization Supervisor for the Cardiology Department. You will oversee referrals and authorization processes, verify patient information and insurance details, and coordinate with scheduling staff to ensure timely patient care.

IMS Care Center is searching for a professional, compassionate and knowledgeable individual to fill the position Authorization Supervisor in our Cardiology Department. The Authorization Supervisor will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks including submitting authorization requests for procedures, answering phones, scheduling, outgoing referral management, and coordinating with the patient to make sure they make their appointments The Authorization Supervisor will also be responsible for supervising the Referrals/Authorization staff and maintaining high standards of accuracy. Bachelors or better in Health Administration.
1 year of supervisor experience required
Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT codes, and insurance carriers’ claim requirements
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience processing referrals and/or insurance verification required
