IMS Care Center is searching for a professional, compassionate and knowledgeable individual to fill the position Authorization Supervisor in our Cardiology Department. The Authorization Supervisor will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks including submitting authorization requests for procedures, answering phones, scheduling, outgoing referral management, and coordinating with the patient to make sure they make their appointments The Authorization Supervisor will also be responsible for supervising the Referrals/Authorization staff and maintaining high standards of accuracy. Instill the IMS mission, vision and values in the work performed.

High School or better.
Bachelors or better in Health Administration.
1 year of supervisor experience required
Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT codes, and insurance carriers’ claim requirements
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience processing referrals and/or insurance verification required
