Job summary

Clio is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our Payroll team in Sydney. You will lead end-to-end Australian payroll processing, ensure compliance with PAYG, Superannuation, and Fair Work obligations, and coordinate with global partners through our EOR framework.

You’ll support multi-country payroll cycles, maintain Workday payroll configurations, and drive accuracy, timeliness, and robust controls across APAC and beyond. Fluency in English and strong attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience running Australian payroll end-to-end.
  • Strong knowledge of PAYG withholding, Superannuation, and Fair Work obligations.
  • Experience coordinating payroll through third-party providers or EOR platforms.
  • Ability to maintain payroll documentation and controls across multiple countries.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process Australia payroll to ensure timely, accurate execution.
  • Manage payroll inputs including variable pay, allowances, leave, absences and retroactive adjustments.
  • Handle statutory reporting and remittances per Australian requirements.
  • Coordinate payroll cycles with EOR partners across Denmark, India, Philippines, Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Turkey and Bangladesh.
  • Reconcile payroll and benefits data and assist with month-end activities.
  • Support employee lifecycle payroll processes and inquiries.
  • Maintain Workday payroll configurations and assist benefits administration.
