Job summary

Workato is seeking a Payroll Specialist to oversee multi-country payroll operations with a focus on the Philippines and Korea while supporting APAC regions. You will ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely submissions, collaborating with ADP and Workday/Celergo teams.

This role will serve as the primary payroll contact, handling inquiries within a 24-hour SLA and driving the global payroll transformation across other regions including Singapore, Australia, Japan, and India.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of multi-country payroll experience.
• Strong end-to-end payroll experience for Philippines and Korea.
• Experience with Workday is a plus.
• Experience with ADP and Celergo is preferred.
• Experience with statutory audits is a plus.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end payroll processing for Philippines and Korea.
• Support payroll operations for additional APAC locations: Singapore, Australia, Japan, and India.
• Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements including government reporting and contributions.
• Resolve issues with government agencies related to payroll, taxes, and statutory contributions.
• Provide summarized payroll reports to General Accounting after payroll approval.
• Act as main point of contact for payroll inquiries; coordinate with payroll provider as required.
