Job summary

Thalle Construction Co. Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Project Manager and operations team on heavy civil projects.

This role focuses on safety, accuracy, and timely project delivery. You will prepare submittals, RFIs, pay requests, material quotes, and manage documentation in Primavera and related systems. A Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years’ experience on heavy civil sites are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management is required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience as a Project Engineer, Field Engineer or QC Tech on heavy civil projects.
• Primavera CPM scheduling or similar, and CAD knowledge are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily reports and monitor production and scheduling.
• Create and manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and correspondence.
• Lead meetings and maintain client, owner, subcontractor relationships.
