Job summary

Thalle Construction Co. Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support North Texas projects.

The role reports to the Project Manager and collaborates with the operations team to maintain professionalism and confidentiality. Thalle is a heavy civil construction company with a long history and a broad project scope including dams, reservoirs, bridges, utilities, and mass excavation. The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management and 2+ years in heavy civil

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management is required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience as a Project Engineer on heavy civil projects.
• Experience with Primavera CPM scheduling or similar, and CAD knowledge.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, aggressive construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily reports and monitor production and schedule tracking.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, notices and correspondence.
• Contribute to daily, weekly, and monthly planning meetings.
• Maintain client, owner, subcontractor and vendor communications.
• Prepare monthly pay requests and track material quotes and POs.
• Assist in project documentation using Primavera and other systems.
• Review plans and drawings for heavy civil projects; support scheduling in P6.
• Assist site document control and other duties as assigned.
