Job summary

Austin-based Business Development Director for the commercial workplace sector is being sought to originate opportunities across the US, rather than relying on inbound leads.

You will network with brokers, client-side teams and CRE professionals, qualify opportunities, and work with delivery teams to convert relationships into live projects. You will operate with senior backing and significant autonomy as US growth accelerates.

Qualifications

• Established network across the US commercial property market.
• Background in commercial office fit-out, workplace design & build or closely related sector.
• Comfortable opening doors and building long-term relationships at a senior level.
• Excited by building a business from the ground up in a new market.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and generate opportunities through your existing network.
• Engage with CRE brokers, Tenant Rep Brokers, Client-Side PMs, PM Consultancies and Corporate Real Estate contacts.
• Qualify opportunities and understand client needs.
• Collaborate with design, pre-construction and delivery teams to convert relationships into projects.
• Represent the business at a senior level across the US market.
