Job summary

Amazon is seeking an AWS Specialist Solutions Architect with deep MySQL expertise to architect, migrate, and optimize Aurora MySQL workloads on AWS. You will work directly with customers and technical leaders to design production systems at scale and influence feature development through customer feedback.

You will contribute to GTM efforts, share best practices through blogs and talks, and help build a global internal AWS technical community.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or internet industries.
• Hands-on experience with Aurora MySQL or RDS for MySQL.
• Experience leading migrations to Aurora as the technical owner.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, flexible, and resilient architectures for MySQL workloads on Amazon Aurora and RDS.
• Migrate, optimize, and operate MySQL workloads; collaborate with customer engineers and leadership.
• Share best practices through blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and tech talks.
