Job summary

Amazon Web Services seeks an AWS Specialist Solutions Architect focused on Aurora MySQL to help customers design, migrate, optimize, and operate MySQL workloads on Aurora and RDS. You will collaborate with customer engineers and leadership to deliver well-architected production systems at scale and share insights with AWS product teams and communities.

You will represent the customer voice, contribute to blogs and reference architectures, and participate in AWS events to spread best practices

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
• Experience with any programming language such as Python, Java, C++.
• 5+ years of experience in a technology domain such as software development, cloud, systems engineering, infrastructure, or data and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, flexible, and resilient architectures for MySQL workloads on Aurora and RDS.
• Migrate, optimize, and operate MySQL workloads in AWS environments.
• Collaborate with customers and GTM teams to influence feature development and roadmap.
• Share best practices through blogs, whitepapers, and technical talks.
