Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Specialist Solutions Architect for Aurora PostgreSQL who will be the technical authority for AWS's largest customers, architecting, migrating, and operating PostgreSQL workloads on Amazon Aurora and Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL. You will deepen expertise in vacuum tuning, replication topologies, and cross‑region migrations from Oracle/SQL Server to Aurora.

- 8+ years in technology with database or cloud design/engineering experience.
- Deep PostgreSQL expertise with Aurora PostgreSQL and RDS for PostgreSQL.
- Proven migration experience from Oracle/SQL Server to Aurora PostgreSQL.
Responsibilities
- Serve as technical advisor for AWS customers on Aurora PostgreSQL deployments.
- Design and validate architectures leveraging storage auto-scaling, read replicas, and Global Database.
- Lead migrations to Aurora PostgreSQL, influencing best practices and roadmaps.
- Publish technical content, blogs, and reference architectures.
- Mentor teammates and present at AWS events and conferences.
- Collaborate with Aurora service team to surface customer pain points.
