Job summary

Nidec is seeking passionate, hard-working individuals to join our production staff in the United States. Starting rates include Skilled Labor at $24.43 per hour with a sign-on bonus and Production at $20.78 per hour. Increases occur every 3 months with a top out in 12 months.

Benefits start Day 1, including ~9% 401(k) contribution, paid holidays and vacations, and a technical incentive. First shift runs 7:00am–3:30pm; second shift 3:30pm–10:30pm with pay for 40 hours on a 35-hour schedule plus a

• Plans and performs sequences of operations where the standard operational methods are available
• Makes general decisions as to setup sequences and correct responses when process monitoring indicates
• Prepares all gensets after testing
• Installs labels, door latches, silencers, etc
• Uses check sheets to audit gensets
• Checks paint appearances and ensures units are built to customers orders
• Requires painting of finished products and assists with packing of finished unit in cycle
• Exercises good housekeeping in work area
• Observes good safety practices in performance of job
