Job summary

Nidec Motor Corporation in the United States is seeking passionate, hardworking individuals to join our production staff. We offer multiple shifts, competitive starting rates, and a sign-on bonus to new hires. Starting rates include Skilled Labor at $24.43 per hour with a sign-on bonus and Production starting rates at $20.78 per hour.

Increases occur every 3 months with a top out at 12 months. Benefits include 9% 401k, technical incentive, paid holidays and paid vacation.

• Requires ability to read and write, follow written process instructions, and record critical process information

Responsibilities

• Plans and performs sequences of operations where the standard operational methods are available
• Makes general decisions as to setup sequences and correct responses when process monitoring indicates
• Prepares all gensets after testing
• Installs labels, door latches, silencers, etc
• Uses check sheets to audit gensets
• Checks paint appearances and ensures units are built to customers orders
• Requires painting of finished products and assists with packing of finished unit in cycle
• Exercises good housekeeping in work area
• Observes good safety practices in performance of job

• 1st sift 7:00am - 3:30pm
• 2nd shift 3:30pm-10:30pm -work 35 hr > get paid for 40 hr PLUS 5% shift premium.
• 3rd shift 10:30pm-7:00am - 10% shift premium
