Job summary

Nidec Corporation is seeking passionate maintenance professionals to join our production staff in the United States. This role focuses on preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of complex electronic and mechanical devices and systems within a manufacturing environment.

Expect responsibilities covering planning, repairs, and preventive services across a variety of equipment, including CNC machines, HVAC systems, and electrical controls.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Trade/Technical School preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of industrial maintenance experience or completion of vocational industrial maintenance program.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies to safely resolve problems with the least downtime or cost to the company.
• Plan scopes of work, time and materials required to complete tasks.
• Emphasize preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of electronic controls, systems, boards and circuits.
• Work with single and multi-phase electricity to 480 volts, plumbing materials and HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair relay logic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and CNC machines.
• Read complex blueprints, drawings and schematics.
• Fabricate and repair guards; repair and provide preventive services across machinery and processes.

1st sift 7:00am – 3:30pm 2nd shift 3:30pm-10:30pm -work 35 hr > get paid for 40 hr PLUS 5% shift premium. 3rd shift 10:30pm-7:00am - 10% shift premium

Job Description

Responsible for preventative maintenance and trouble shooting of electronic and mechanical devices and systems.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Developes strategies to safely resolve problems with the least amount of downtime, or cost to company
• Plans the scopes of work, time, and materials required to complete tasks assigned
• Emphasizes preventative maintenance, trouble shooting and repairs of a variety of electronic controls, systems, boards, and circuits
• Works with single and multi phase electricity to 480 volts, plumbing materials and applications, HVAC systems, variety of welding and brazing processes, and repairs with block, brick, and concrete
• Troubleshoots and repairs relay logic, hydraulic pneumatic systems, and CNC machines
• Reads complex blueprints, drawings, and schematics
• Fabricates and repairs guards
• Repairs and provides preventive services to a wide variety of machinery and processes throughout the plant

Necessary Skills

• Ability to use a variety of precision measuring instruments, read and interpret detailed prints, drawings, layouts and specifications
• Ability to apply information to manufacturing process
• Emphasis in CNC repair as well as trouble shooting electronic controls and equipment
