Job summary

Nidec is seeking passionate individuals to join our production staff in the United States. Starting rates include Skilled Labor at $24.43/hr with a sign-on bonus and Production starting at $20.78/hr, with increases every 3 months and a top out in 12 months.

Eligible positions are on the first, second, or third shifts in Lexington, TN. Benefits include Day 1 9%, 401k, a technical incentive, paid holidays and paid vacation. Equal opportunity employer with diverse workforce.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Plans and performs sequences of operations where the standard operational methods are available
• Makes general decisions as to setup sequences and correct responses when process monitoring indicates
• Prepares all gensets after testing
• Installs labels, door latches, silencers, etc
• Uses check sheets to audit gensets
• Checks paint appearances and ensures units are built to customers orders
• Requires painting of finished products and assists with packing of finished unit in cycle
• Exercises good housekeeping in work areaObserves good safety practices in performance of job

Work Shift Schedule

• First Shift (United States of America)
• 1st sift 7:00am - 3:30pm
• 2nd shift 3:30pm-10:40pm -work 35 hr > get paid for 40 hr PLUS 5% shift premium.
• 3rd shift 10:30pm-7:00am - 10% shift premium
