Job summary

Novogradac, a national CPA firm headquartered in San Francisco, is seeking a Manager to lead audit engagements and mentor staff within its Tax/Audit practice. The role focuses on supervising engagements, developing client relationships, and contributing to office profitability.

The position requires strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and domestic travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred.
• 5–8 years of public accounting experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong professional judgment.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements with planning, staffing and on-time delivery.
• Oversee engagement reviews.
• Mentor Supervisors, Senior Accountants, and Staff.
• Conduct annual performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
• Assist Principals/Partners with identifying and pursuing new clients.
• Develop and grow client relationships and office profitability.
