Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen LLP is seeking an Audit Manager or Director to join our Central Wisconsin team, with locations including Eau Claire and surrounding cities. You will oversee planning, staffing, and execution of engagements, while guiding teams and maintaining strong client relationships.

Required are a CPA license and 6+ years in public accounting, with advanced knowledge of audit and tax concepts. Travel to client sites and leadership abilities are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Public accounting experience with audits, reviews, and compilations.
• CPA license required and demonstrated client service orientation.
• Ability to lead and mentor staff and manage client relationships.
• Strong communication, analytical skills, and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control phases of assurance engagements for assigned clients.
• Lead engagement teams, allocate staffing, and manage budgets and timelines.
• Develop teams through coaching, training, and performance feedback.
• Prepare engagement letters, terms, and ensure client sign-off.
• Evaluate internal controls and audit programs; report progress to principals.
• Maintain client management contact, provide recommendations and final meetings.
