Job summary

Capital One is seeking an Audit Manager for Consumer Lending (Credit Card & Personal Loans) in a hybrid role. Lead audits, supervise teams, and use data analytics to deliver objective assurance on governance and risk management.

Engage with analytics, compliance, model, data, credit, and technology audit partners to support audit objectives. The role requires 5+ years in auditing or risk, 3+ years as auditor-in-charge, and a mix of technical and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in auditing, compliance, or risk management, or a combination.
• At least 3 years of experience in leading audit engagements or performing in the role of auditor-in-charge.
• Masters degrees or professional certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, perform, and lead large, complex audits across Consumer Lending.
• Manage multiple tasks and deadlines with independence.
• Supervise audit teams with coaching and feedback.
• Execute audit procedures, identify issues, and validate remediation.
• Assess findings, exposures, and emerging risks with business context.
• Leverage data analytics and AI in audit delivery.
• Communicate scope, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Build influential partnerships with business and audit peers.
• Contribute to annual audit plan via ongoing risk assessment.
