Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
• At least 5 years of auditing experience in commercial banking, financial services, or risk management.
• At least 3 years leading audit engagements or in a project management role.
• Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or MBA preferred.
• CIA/CPA/CRCM certifications preferred.
• 6+ years of auditing commercial banking portfolio experience preferred.
• 1+ years of data analytics experience in internal audit.

Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor the assigned audit universe for updates.
• Lead large, complex audits of business units and projects.
• Develop engagement planning documentation and audit programs.
• Design and execute internal control testing as appropriate.
• Communicate audit findings and risks to stakeholders during kick-off and status updates.
• Supervise and coach audit staff and coordinate team assignments.
• Build strong relationships with business and audit partners.
• Apply data analytics to enhance audit scope and insights.
