Capital One's Audit function is a dedicated group of professionals focused on delivering top-quality assurance services to the organization's Audit Committee. The Audit Manager will lead operational audits of the Consumer Lending portfolio and collaborate with analytics, compliance, model, data, credit and technology teams to support audit objectives.

This hybrid role requires strong leadership, data analytics proficiency, and the ability to communicate clearly with business partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
• At least 5 years of auditing, compliance, or risk management.
• At least 3 years leading audit engagements or auditor-in-charge.
• Master's degree or professional certifications preferred.
• 6+ years in auditing consumer compliance, banking or financial services.
• 1+ years of data analytics tool experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, perform, and lead large audits across Consumer Lending (Credit Card and Personal Loans).
• Manage timely delivery of multiple audits and admin tasks while independent.
• Supervise and coach audit team members; provide timely feedback.
• Execute procedures, identify issues, validate remediation, document processes.
• Assess findings, exposures, materiality and emerging trends.
• Leverage data analytics and AI technologies during planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
• Communicate scope, risks and recommendations to stakeholders; tailor message.
• Develop influential relationships with key business and audit partners.
