Capital One is seeking an Audit Manager for Consumer Lending (Credit Cards & Personal Loans) with a strong focus on governance, risk management, and independent assurance. The role collaborates across analytics, compliance, and technology audit teams in a hybrid office environment.

You will lead audits, assess control effectiveness, and leverage data analytics to drive proactive insights, with opportunities for professional growth and participation in incentive plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in auditing, compliance, or risk management, or a combination.
• At least 3 years of experience in leading audit engagements or performing in the role of auditor-in-charge.
• Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or MBA preferred.
• CIA/CPA/CRCM certifications preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in auditing consumer compliance, banking, or financial services.
• 1+ years of experience with data analytics tools in support of internal audit.

Responsabilités

• Plan, perform, and lead large, complex audits across Consumer Lending (Credit Card and Personal Loans).
• Manage multiple concurrent audits, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
• Supervise and coach audit team members; provide feedback.
• Execute audit procedures, identify issues, validate remediation.
• Assess materiality and emerging risks; connect detail to business strategy.
• Leverage data analytics and AI tools during planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
• Communicate scope, risks and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key business and audit partners.
