Job summary

Cherry Bekaert LLP invites an Audit Intern to gain hands-on exposure to the public accounting profession in the United States. You will work with multiple supervisors on various client engagements, apply accounting knowledge using Firm technology, shadow Audit professionals, and participate in team-building and research projects.

The role also includes attendance at social functions and exposure to marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an accounting or related program with two years to graduation.
• GPA not strictly required but preferred.
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software.
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel.

Responsibilities

• Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements.
• Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology.
• Shadow Audit professionals of all levels.
• Participate in team building and training initiatives.
• Participate in and present on a marketing or research project.
• Attend social functions: happy hours, lunches, community service projects and other outings.
