Job summary

Truist Audit Manager is responsible for leading high-risk, complex internal audits and advisory services. You will coach junior team members and deliver independent assurance with data analytics as part of engagement management.

The role requires strong risk management knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple audits while meeting budgets and timelines. This is a regular, on-site position in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field.
• Six to eight years of banking, auditing or related experience.
• Strong knowledge of audit and banking/financial services.
• Solid risk management and process concepts.
• Analytical, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly.
• Identify root causes of problems and communicate solutions.
• Strong written, verbal and negotiating skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software products.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-risk, complex audits and plan/test plans with data analytics.
• Set quality expectations and review process documentation.
• Develop audit reports aligned with risk appetite and present to stakeholders.
• Identify root causes and propose solutions.
• Coach and mentor junior team members.
• Provide subject-matter expertise to support business partnerships.
• Manage multiple audits and advisory projects; assist with new systems.
• Work independently with sound judgment in risk assessments.
