Job summary

Hannis T. Bourgeois, LLP (HTB) is seeking an entry-level Audit + Assurance team member in New Orleans. You will learn and assist audit professionals under supervision, while becoming familiar with firm policies, procedures, and internal controls.

As you grow, you will develop GAAP knowledge, stay current on technical issues, and become proficient with the firm’s technology and research tools, supporting clients across industries.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting from a four-year college or university
• 0 to 2 years of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Learns and assists audit professionals under direction of Seniors, Supervisors, Manager, Senior Managers and Partners.
• Becomes familiar with the firm's policies and procedures including workpaper preparation, audit, and accounting procedures, and documentation and testing of internal controls.
• Keeps current on technical issues and learns to apply them to client circumstances.
• Becomes proficient in the use of the Firm's technology and research tools.
• Begins to develop a command of GAAP and generally accepted auditing standards.
