Job summary

HTB is seeking an early-career accounting student to join our Audit + Assurance team. You’ll support engagement teams under the guidance of seniors, supervisors, and partners while learning firm policies, procedures, and internal control testing.

You’ll gain hands-on exposure to GAAP concepts, audit documentation, and the technologies used by the firm, building a foundation for professional growth in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting from a four-year college or university.
• 0 to 2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Learns and assists audit professionals under direction of Seniors, Supervisors, Manager, Senior Managers and Partners.
• Becomes familiar with the firm's policies and procedures including workpaper preparation, audit, and accounting procedures, and documentation and testing of internal controls.
• Keeps current on technical issues and learns to apply them to client circumstances.
• Becomes proficient in the use of the Firm's technology and research tools.
• Begins to develop a command of GAAP and generally accepted auditing standards.
