Weaver is a full-service national accounting, advisory and consulting firm seeking an Audit Associate. You will perform audit procedures on engagements, assist with financial statement prep, and develop your professional plan with leadership.

A team player with clear communication will thrive in our collaborative culture. Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA candidate status, and internship or light public accounting experience; GAAP/GAAS familiarity is expected.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• CPA candidate required.
• Internship or light experience in public accounting encouraged.
• Basic familiarity with GAAP and GAAS required.
• Master’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills preferred.
• Team orientation and strong interpersonal skills preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform audit procedures on engagements as assigned.
• Assist with financial statement preparation and work paper documentation.
• Develop plan for professional development with group leader.
• Collaborate with Senior Associates and Managers to resolve issues.
• Demonstrate initiative, responsibility, and effective communication on multiple assignments.
