Job summary

Weaver is seeking an Audit Associate for Fall 2027 in California. The role performs audit procedures on engagements and supports the completion of audits, working with Senior Associates and Managers to address issues and deliver high-quality financial statements.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and is a CPA candidate with internship or light public accounting experience, plus basic GAAP/GAAS familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• CPA candidate status required or preferred.
• Internship or light experience in public accounting required.
• Basic familiarity with GAAP and GAAS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform audit procedures as assigned on engagements.
• Assist with completing audit engagements and financial statement preparation.
• Work closely with Senior Associates and Managers to identify and resolve issues.
• Develop clear work papers and plan your professional development with group leader.
