Job summary

Weaver is seeking an Audit Associate in Pasadena, CA to perform audit procedures on engagements and assist with financial statement preparation. You will work closely with Senior Associates and Managers to identify and resolve issues and develop clear work papers while planning your own professional development with your group leader.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, is a CPA candidate, and has internship or light public accounting experience with familiarity of GAAP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• Candidate should be pursuing CPA certification.
• Internship or light experience in public accounting is expected.
• Basic familiarity with GAAP and GAAS is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform audit procedures on engagements as assigned.
• Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting.
• Develop clear work papers and documentation.
• Collaborate with Senior Associates and Managers to resolve issues.
