Weaver, a national accounting, advisory and consulting firm, seeks an Audit Associate to join our growing team in Los Angeles. You will perform audit procedures, assist with financial statement preparation, and collaborate with Senior Associates and Managers to resolve issues.

A focus on clear work papers and personal development is expected within a supportive environment. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, is CPA candidate, and demonstrates basic GAAP/GAAS familiarity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• CPA candidate pursued or enrolled.
• internship or light experience in public accounting.
• Basic familiarity with GAAP and GAAS.

Responsibilities

• Perform audit procedures on engagements as assigned.
• Work closely with Senior Associates and Managers to address issues.
• Assist with financial statement preparation and documentation.
• Develop a plan for professional development with group leader.
