Job summary

Weaver is seeking an Audit Associate to join our growing firm in San Francisco. You will perform audit procedures, support financial statement preparation, and work with Senior Associates and Managers to resolve issues, while developing your professional skills in a collaborative, innovative environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting, is a CPA candidate, and has internship or light public accounting experience. Preferred Master’s in Accounting or related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA candidate status preferred.
• Internship or light experience in public accounting.
• Basic familiarity with GAAP and GAAS.
• Master’s degree in Accounting or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform audit procedures on engagements as assigned.
• Collaborate with Senior Associates and Managers to resolve issues.
• Develop clear work paper techniques and assist with financial statement prep.
• Plan professional development with group leader and seek feedback.
