Job summary

The Chinese University of Hong Kong is looking for an Audio-Visual Assistant to support installation, operation, and maintenance of AV and computing equipment in classrooms and lecture theatres. You will assist with setup services for events and projects, and participate in preventive maintenance programs.

The role requires completion of secondary education, strong communication skills, and the ability to learn quickly.

Qualifications

• Completed secondary education or equivalent.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for installation, operation, repair and maintenance of AV and computing equipment in classrooms.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on AV equipment in classrooms.
• Assist in setup services for events and special projects.
• On-the-job training will be provided; shift duty and overtime may be required.
